MineTech was born from decades of experience in mineral exploration. Having spent years discovering and evaluating resources with traditional methods, we developed a deep understanding of both the opportunities and the challenges that define the industry.
As exploration grew more complex, we recognised the need for a new approach, one that combines geological expertise with artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and scientific computing to improve outcomes and reduce uncertainty.
We also witnessed the fragmentation across the mining lifecycle: data, expertise, and stakeholders often disconnected, limiting collaboration. That inspired our broader vision: an intelligent mining platform that connects exploration, technology, and industry participants into a unified ecosystem.

A mining strategist with 15+ years of on-the-ground exploration across Africa and 400+ mineral prospects evaluated. He was Managing Director and CEO of First Lithium (ASX: FL1), where he led one of West Africa's fastest lithium drilling programmes. A former technology entrepreneur, he pairs frontier-market mining execution with the data and automation expertise behind MineTech's AI exploration platforms.
Director
An investor and technology leader bringing over two decades of enterprise experience to the board. Founder of Technovert and Product Director at Saketa, he is CEO of Praval Technologies (MineTech's AI development partner), where he leads delivery across AI/ML, cloud modernisation, and data analytics. His expertise underpins MineTech's build-out of AI-driven mineral intelligence.
Board Advisor
A software-industry veteran of over 30 years, more than 25 of them in leadership, with a track record of shipping enterprise software from initial development through release. He has built and scaled distributed engineering teams across the US, Asia, Europe, and South America, and advises the group on product-engineering strategy and delivery governance.
Chief Technology Officer
Over 28 years leading enterprise technology strategy and delivery. He has governed organisation-wide cloud and Identity & Access Management programmes and advised executive leadership on technical direction while building and mentoring distributed engineering teams. At MineTech he owns platform architecture, cloud and security foundations, and engineering delivery.
Chief Research & Digital Assets Officer
A CAMS-certified professional with an MBA in Finance and International Business and over 20 years in global corporate and investment-banking operations, bringing expertise in risk assessment, ESG analysis, peer benchmarking, and financial-crime compliance. He directs MineTech's asset research and the structuring, compliance, and investor framework behind the group's mineral-backed security token offerings.
Business Development Manager
A project and business-transformation leader with over 17 years delivering enterprise technology, cloud modernisation, and AI-enabled platforms across EMEA and APAC, spanning banking, financial services, ERP/CRM, and cybersecurity. At MineTech he drives strategic delivery, engages mining stakeholders, and builds partnerships that open new opportunities for technology-enabled mineral exploration.
Geologist
Holds a doctorate for research on rare-metal mineralisation in pegmatites, with specialist expertise in the geology and mineralogy of pegmatite systems. Across 38 years he has planned and directed exploration for uranium, rare metals (lithium, beryllium, niobium, tantalum), and rare earth elements across a wide range of Indian geological domains, in progressively senior technical and leadership roles. His command of pegmatite-hosted mineralisation, the deposit style underpinning global lithium supply, gives MineTech direct authority in the terrain where its exploration work is concentrated.
Geologist
Holds a Ph.D. in Economic Geology with over 25 years of technical experience across the mineral-resource sector. He has worked in multiple jurisdictions and across a broad spectrum of deposit styles, geological settings, and commodities, building depth in geological modelling, mineral-resource estimation, and mine geology. That range, from greenfield interpretation through resource definition to operating-mine support, underpins the technical rigour behind MineTech's exploration intelligence and resource-evaluation work.

A Johannesburg-based geological consulting and contracting firm serving the mineral industry across Southern Africa and internationally since 1999.
